Loner --- (posted 2/28/03) --- Approximately 4 1/2 year old black and white smooth coat male Border Collie. Loner's weight is approximately 47 lbs. Loner's picture

Loner is in rescue because I may be moving and may not be able to take all 8 of my dogs. Loner is good with cats and likes playing fetch, Frisbee and car rides. His working ability is good. He has had some experience with sheep at home and with a trainer at another farm. His "away to me" is really good but he needs some fine tuning.

Loner's behavior problems stem from not being socialized and from living with his 3 littermates. He does bite but with the right job and someone who is familiar with and loves Border Collies as much as I do, I think he has the chance of being a great working dog for someone.

Loner knows commands for "sit", "stay", "down", "come" and a bathroom command.

Loner is currently located in Virginia.

Cowboy is in rescue because I may be moving and may not be able to take all 8 of my dogs. Cowboy is pretty good with other dogs, strangers, cats and kids and likes playing fetch and Frisbee. His working ability is fair. He has had some experience with sheep at home and with a trainer at another farm. He has a great "lie down" and is very keen.

Cowboy's nature is pretty good and he is more sociable than some of my others. He knows commands for "sit", "down", "come" and a bathroom command and he has had some agility training.

Cowboy is currently located in Virginia.

She has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies and has received regular veterinary care. Hannah is heartworm negative and is currently on heartworm preventative. Hannah is housetrained.

Hannah is in rescue because her owner does not have the energy to keep up with her anymore. She is good with other dogs, strangers, cats and kids and likes playing fetch, car rides and Frisbee. Hannah's only real behavior problem is that she tends to jump up on people because of her high energy level.

Hannah's working ability is untested but she knows commands for "sit", "stay", "down" and "come".

Hannah is currently located in Huntingdon, Pennsylvania.
