Lovely friendly girl, perhaps 2 yrs old, very petite at maybe 18.5". Not the least bit bothered by the commotion in the shelter, gets along great with other dogs and greeted the cats like she was perhaps raised with them, no real interest. Loves to be rubbed on, didn't mind being handled. Picked up as a stray. When we took her back inside, she happily trotted down the aisle between the noisy kennels, tail waving, ears pricked. Great attitude. The unusual coloring on her face makes her head appear bigger in pix than it really is; in person, she looks like she's mostly bc, with BIG expressive brown eyes. A really nifty dog.

Molly, I would be sleeping in the car if I brought another dog home to keep! We ARE talking about fostering though, but still on the fence...

My Spousal Unit took a look at her. Wheels may be turning in his head.

Ack! Shari, she is gorgeous!! Are you having a "Henry" moment!? ;-)

Small enough to fit in a crate or on one side of the back seat, for sure.

Yes Wendy, a definate " Henry" moment. But if she came to LR, she might not make it any further!

If she is in any danger at this shelter, I am sure we could find a spot for her someplace....

Great news! (And a relief for Shari, who was probably trying to figure out where she was going to squeeze this girl in! ;-)

Stack 'em up! Lots of wasted vertical space in a bedroom that could be used for rescue dogs, don'cha think? :-)

Yes, stacking crates does work! When I took a pup to Ruff Mutts, they had crates stacked 2-3 high along every wall. Quite an accomplishment!
