He has been with me, his foster mom, for I think a yr now... He was rescued from some people that was going to shoot him if he didn't stop chasing their horses..He does have some herding instinct but I wouldn't say he was a "working dog" He is a young adult probably around 3 or so and he is very special cause he is a dwarf border collie. I am all border collie in a short legged package. Even with his short little legs he run SO fast and Jump so High. I think he would make GREAT flyball or agility dog. He is very smart, and can be hardheaded sometimes but just wants to please you so much!!
He loves to sit up on his butt and cross his front "arms" and "wave" them at you. Cutest darn thing you will ever see! He has had some other dog aggression issues at my Dominate male Scott, Everyone else he is fine with once he gets to know a new dog he is fine. He is crate trained, and does really well in the house. He is not altered yet, but will be very soon! He is fine with cats, love to lay down and let them play with his "nose and lips" LoL
