A beauty all caught up on vaccinations and brought in by its owner because it killed chickens. Very friendly and likes children . Outside dog, not leash trained . This dog was walked and visited by volunteers Michelle and Christy. He did well on the leash once he learned he wasn't going to be hurt. He is very confused about being in the kennel and where he is going when we take him out. He loved the grass and tried to run. Very gentle big boy.

Received a forwarded email today about animals at this shelter being in urgent need, and Leo's photo and a quick blurb were included: "Leo is the handsomest Border Collie you ever saw!!! He's so sweet - just no chickens."

The email indicated:

OUT OF AREA RESCUE WELCOME!!! THIS IS SO SAD!!!
Robertson Co AC is in DEEP trouble!!! They are FULL and their foster is bringing back her dogs which means that the dogs will sacrifice their lives both at the AC and from the foster....BEGGING!!!! 615-384-5611
