Welcome to the boards, Lucky123!! What a pretty brindle boy you have there...love his face -- so sweet looking! Thanks for giving a rescue dog a home, too. :-)

Here are some pictures of a brindle and white girl I am fostering. I think she part Border Collie and maybe Collie or Sheltie mix. What do you all think?

She was about 6 months in these pictures....She is about 9 months now.

Not just you, Paula. :) I can see Rachel's signature pictures but not the ones in the post itself...and I think I had the same problem when looking at a previous post, too.

But I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of this pup eventually!

Beautiful dog! It may be the photo, but she looks awfully long in the legs to have Sheltie in her. My guess would be a larger collie mix... LOVE the ears, too. :-)

Oh, she's so cute! I don't see sheltie, either. I'd buy BC/something brindle mix. :)

Hi! I felt so happy to find this site. I just adopted Cleo a few weeks ago from PACA. They were told that Cleo was a Border Collie/ Australian Shepard mix. I didn't care what she was I was in love. But I took her to the vet over the weekend and she told me that she thought Cleo was at least half Pit. Well, I'm just not convinced of that, I've been around plenty of Pits and she REALLY doesn't seem like she is to me. I really wish I could afford the DNA test. The vet said that she thinks that Cleo is about 4 or 5 months old. What do you guys think?

I'm sure you didn't mean any sort of endorsement by including a link to the well known puppymiller "Cherokee Rose" BCs in your reply, but I wonder if it's really a good idea to encourage anyone--but especially folks who may be unfamiliar with breeders of BCs--to visit that site? After all, the breeder has been kicked out of the ABCA and is a well known associate of Richard Swafford, whose dogs many of us have first-hand experience rehabilitating.

Irishsmiley15, would you consider removing that part of your reply, to avoid misunderstanding and to avoid giving Cherokee Rose more traffic and visibility?
