NEW In transit Pics! "Bee" Tri-F saved from Mansfield,TX!

New postby Wendy M on Sun Jul 10, 2011 2:18 pm

Sweet Bee is on her way to an overnight in Missouri, before heading to her foster home with Come Bye BCR in Illinois on Monday morning!! See her rescue thread HERE: viewtopic.php?f=39&t=10986
Bea was nervous at first, but liked the car and getting out of the shelter - She is apparently a little girl, only about 30 pounds or so.

Shari (keevef) who is doing the first leg of transport (a long one, from Dallas to Alma, Ark.!) took these photos of Bea getting settled into the back seat, and ask me to post them. I will pick her up in a couple of hours, and then take her to Karen, who found an overnight spot for her in the Springfield, MO area. Thanks to Morragan, who set this all up and made many calls, to all the transporters, and the folks from Come Bye who stepped up to take her into rescue...BC rescuers ROCK!! :-)

Still getting comfortable

Checking out all the cars out there to herd!

Finally, a butt in the seat!

As Shari said... "Tired Puppeh"

Will update with more photos of Bee and her rescue transport as we get them!

Great photos of a beautiful girl--so glad to see her out of the shelter and on her way to her foster home! :D

Many thanks to everyone participating in her rescue, both from near and far! I look forward to seeing pictures from the next leg of her journey when you have time to post them, Wendy.

The hand-off in Alma, AR...Shari got "Bee" that cute hearts n' bees bandana. I had been mis-spelling her name Bea (but changed it now!)

Now in Neosho, Missouri...and after a long drink of water -- ready to join Karen for the leg to her overnight stay near Springfield, MO.

Where IS this place?

Bee has the sweetest little face. She is tiny!
Image
(note double leashing, as both Karen and I are paranoid about flight risk rescue dogs!) Bee was a perfect angel, and made no attempts to bolt or fight the leash. She seemed to enjoy the attention...and also enjoyed the little bits of string cheese I fed her, too!

Thanks to EVERYONE for the help on this one...Morragan, I smiled when I saw "Bee M." with your last name on the label of the paperwork. And I know that the great folks at Come Bye BCR will find her a wonderful forever home!

Bee slept like a rock last night. I didn't hear a peep from her. She's very sweet. Can't wait till she finds her forever home so she can stop being so scared!

Hi Carrie and welcome! Thank you SO SO much for agreeing to overnight Bee...it is much appreciated. :-)

I'm sure she is still overwhelmed by all the changes that have happened to her in the past weeks, and like you, I am hoping that Bee can settle in with a foster home with Come Bye and find a forever home SOON!!

"Bea" or "Bee" take your pick! :-) has a web page with Come Bye BCR here: http://www.comebyebcrescue.com/animals/ ... ID=3597856

The not so great news is that she was HW positive. :-( I'm going to send CBBCR a donation to help with her treatment...and would encourage any other "Bea" fans to help out with a little donation too, if you are able!

Thanks,

-Wendy M.
