Thought you might like to see how rough Hunt's life has become.

This is within four hours of him arriving.

Wonderful photo! :-) Hunt is a very special boy. When we were sitting on the curb under a shady tree at the Oklahoma welcome center, right before Lenore came to pick him up for the next leg of transport...he cuddled up to my side and stuck his head up under my arm, as if to say "thanks for the ride!" What a sweetie he is. Kent, I think you are right, that Hunt had someone who loved him once...and his life just took a bad turn at some point. It's so great to see him back in a home, with the arms of caring people firmly around him once again. Thank you for taking him in.

Just a quick update on Hunt. He's feeling GOOD, and would whip a teenage boy at an eating contest. He gets around well for his age and is picking up steam everyday. We have an appointment on the 11th to see an eye specialist for him.

I have never seen a dog that just LOVES life the way that Hunt does. He is just happy to be anywhere, and if there is someone around (even to just sit with) he is in heaven! He is just WONDERFUL!

Hunt has now been here three months, you would NEVER guess he is the same dog! He has become the go go Aussie I'm sure would make a 6 month old pup say "Dude! You need to slow down and chill out." He is on a mission to run everywhere and bark at everything! We still are treating his eyes for glockcoma (sp?) but his eyes seem to be doing better.

I want to thank everyone here for helping us save him! He will be a member of our family for the rest of his life.

Wonderful rescue story. He would have died in the shelter. Amazing what LOVE can do for a pet. Thanks Kent and everyone who helped.
