a neat birthday present

Some of you may have already seen this, but I thought I'd share it here, too.

My friend hosted a surprise birthday party for me last night. I knew that I was going to a party and I figured that they would do something for my birthday, but I thought the party was just going to be a few of my dog friends that go to the beach every weekend. It turned out to be much bigger, so I really was surprised (and I'm not a fan of surprise parties ). Anywho, Steve gave me a really neat birthday present and I thought I'd share (it is dog-related). My friend who hosted the party made the gift. I was quite touched.

Um, dunno. I think they told me, but my friend's husband kept refilling my margarita glass, so I'm a little fuzzy on the details.

That is an awesome quilt! Talk about a great and memorable gift!

As for getting the picture of the dogs on the quilt ... there is a transfer type of paper you can use to print the picture onto fabric. I don't remember the name right now but you can find it craft type places ... I found some a while back at Walmart.
