A bump for the pretty girl. I could likely convince my folks to go visit, and to begin transport.

The shelter has her as dog aggressive. As scared as she looks, that could be stress. I believe EastTN is checking on her.

Fingers crossed that she is just reacting to her surroundings. She's so pretty. Looks like she could use a hug.

Any updates from East TN?

EastTN is full, but is serving as emergency backup if this girl doesn't find the right home. Here's the scoop:

She is a very pretty, purebred border collie, between 2 and 4 years old. She is smart and very friendly towards people.
I saw no signs of people aggression whatsoever. The family that adopted her returned her to the shelter because
she did make aggressive moves to their elderly b.c.; I suspect because she was insecure and jealous of the attention.

I walked her through the kennels where there were several aggressive dogs, and she did not retaliate at all. She
seems to be rather insecure and unless was adopted to a family who were familiar with the breed and understand
their sensitivity, I can understand that she might show some aggressive/protective behavior towards another dog.
However, I got the impression that she would be wonderful as an only dog, and would be fine with other dogs in
a non-threatening situation, i.e. just meeting a dog outside her territory, or at a dog park, for example.
