Okay, Charlie is now on PF, he's a courtesy listing and not at the shelter so I'm not sure what to do with him - lol - but for now here is his link and add'l info. I will refrain from comment on the home's sudden inability after 2.5 yrs to handle 3 dogs, and how 3 is less than 4...:

This is Charlie. He's a 3 year old Border Collie. We rescued him when he was seven months old. He is now three. He bonded with a female boxer we had and she was killed a few weeks ago. I have him inside, but, I already have two others inside and I just cannot manage three. He needs a home with another female he can bond with or with someone who can spend a lot of time with him. He is timid, but, very loving once you gain his trust. It breaks my heart to have to give him up, but, I have to. He is neutered and had shots last year.
