I love it when shelters type up little stories like that. Cute! :)

You mean it's not true?! Here I was thinking how could an upscale antique shop with this beautiful PB dog just turn their back on her like that. I guess it really was a good story...I believed it.

Oh I do believe it, I just think it is a unique way of telling the story. An attention grabber compared to "Female border collie. Turned in for chewing". :P

Just letting you know that this is a gassing shelter. Adoption fee is $15 cash only and does not include vetting.

"Unless otherwise noted, all dogs and cats require spaying/neutering and rabies vaccination within 30 days of adoption. Adoption fee for all animals is $15, payable in cash only. Visitors are welcome Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm."

Maybe that's why he looks a little perturbed in the second picture....
The person behind the camera is probably saying, "Oh what a good girl!!!"

I'm about an hour away from the shelter - I've never been there, but I've not heard the best things about it either. If they vaccinated or spayed/neutered, I'd try what I could to foster (I'm new to this, so I'm a little reluctant to take on a non-vetted animal when I don't have the funds to provide the vet care for him). I'm sure those of you that do this frequently have a routine and a gameplan to bring new dogs into rescue or foster, but I'm a total novice at this, so just don't want to take on more than I am sure I can handle.

I could visit him next week for temperament testing if someone was interested....
