Hi! I’m Tara and I’m a gorgeous 8 month old female Border Collie girl. I’m what they call a stray, so I can’t leave the shelter until Friday, 8/3, but I will have to be out of here that day, so I want to go ahead and find myself a rescue in case I don’t get reclaimed. I’m a beauty for sure and have a very sweet personality. I would make a great dog to the loving family! Hope to hear from you soon! Love, Tara

Sorry everyone, North Star has been overrun with project and special needs dogs and we just can't squeeze in a single dog it seems. We have SO many Michigan dogs that need help, mostly owner surrenders. I have been doing courtesy listings trying to help.....but it is very depressing not being able to do more right now.

I really don't mean to complain as I know everyone else is in the same boat. I just wanted to let everyone know why I haven't been around lately. I sure hope this girl and the black tri-color boy make it out.

Heard back from Wanda with Buckeye BCR tonight who said she has emailed the shelter about Tara!! Paws Crossed!!!

Any news on this girl?? I could take her in under Fur Kid Rescue - I would just need some help with a transport. I don't ahve any connections down there except for one person in Paris, Ky.
