I volunteer with our local A/C to post pictures and try and find rescues for some of their adoptable dogs. This little guy has been there awhile he was found with almost complete hairloss from sarcoptic mange. They treated him but during that time he had to have minimal contact due to it being contagious and this has left him fearful and shy around people. He is warming up to us now that he has been cleared but still is very shy. He needs a rescue willing to work with him on socialization. We can pay for his shots and health certificate (if he is leaving the state) and his treatment was with revolution so he has been on a heartworm preventative. If you can help please let me know

He is one of my favorites! He just needs someone willing to work with him on socialization and I think he would make someone an awesome pet!

This dude is still there! They put alot of work into him and we just need him a safe place to go.
He is still very timid, no one has stepped up to foster him and try to socialize him.
All the rescues I have tried have been full and that is about the only chance for this guy.

Received in email from rep at SEMO Rescue Alliance.
No name male puppy has been there 2 months was very skittish and everyone passes him by because of this. He is good with other dogs and people once he gets to know them. He has been on Advantage Multi since there and shoud be HW -. They will pay for his neuter to the home or rescue that takes him. They really want to place him.

Scooter is a puppy that was adopted and then returned . He is 12 pounds in weight and 10 weeks old. He has 1 blue eye and 1 eye that is half blue.

NO word on wether they are urgent or not. The email just said there are lots of nice dogs and pups available.

(added) Went back and read the email today. There were several other dogs and pups listed but just want to add that the email header said Kennet Humane Society and Ac. So these 2 may be with 2 different groups in the same area Could not tell from the email. Would be best to email one of the contacts who would know all about their current status.

The rescue coordinator Laura Holloway (semo, stands for southeast Missouri Animal rescue Allance)
Is pleading for someone to take this pup. vetting will be done and transport can be arranged.

Kennett is in the "Boot heel" of Missouri, about 2 hours north of Memphis. Wonder of West TN BCR might consider the black-faced pup?

Yes, looks like same pup that Sadie91 posted...sound like she is a volunteer there. Wonder if she was trying all-breed rescues, or just BC rescues?

Tuxedo, I PM'ed you, with the WTNBCR info -- but Sadie91 may have already contacted them. Sadly, shy and under-socialized pups are hard to place, because generally they are harder for rescues to adopt out.
