Oh no! My heart sank when I saw the new title to this thread...

Run free at the bridge sweet Leo - even though many of us never got to meet you, our love is with you little guy.

Like Wendy, my heart sank at the new subject line.

Thank you, Sally, for trying to help Leo. I am so sorry he didn't have a chance to enjoy the new life you offered him.

It is so stupid. I never met him, and I am sitting here bawling.
In his place, we will rescue another...so he didn't die in vain.

Sally, I'm so sorry. He looked like my Baron that was just treated for blasto. I actually thought of blasto when I read his info. Baron is going to be neutered tomorrow. I am very much saddened by his lose.

I'm sorry Sally....

I am also so sorry about poor Leo. As with so many others you made a wonderful and loving commitment to get him to safety and did everything that you could do to help him.

Ohhhh.... I didn't check in yesterday (setting up to transport a lab pup today, of all things). I'm so sorry Leo didn't make it. What a sweet tribute, Sally.

Leo never knew how many people he touched at the end of his short life. We all know now how much happerier he is. WE may not have gotten him to safety, but another path to get there was chosen. Leo will forever hold a special place in all of our hearts. Run free and enjoy Leo. Until we meet at the bridge.
Sandy, the tribute is beautiful. Thank you.
