WE TOOK A TRIP TO CALIFORNIA...

to visit w/ family...i have a sis here in WI not to far from me and then 2 sis' in CA plus my parents and 2 nieces, all on the same acreage....my sis here and i drove out there on the 20th of last mo (w/ 4 dogs) and returned on the 31st....about 34 hrs each way....

anyway, how do you travel from northeastern WI to central CA w/ 4 dogs?.....

how about the luggage carrier ....


the 1st morning there (we arrived about 11:30 p.m. in CA)....

Looks like a fun time! My back screamed just thinking about a 34 hr one way trip though!

yep, that was Tir...still a mud-puppy, just not as bad....and it seems she's a bit contagious....

so now my pics are showing right on my computer...i guess i just had to shut her down to "rest" so she'd quit being a "dink"

so, now on to the rest of the crew from there and i'll start w/ the dogs...there's 15 total, most belonging to my older sis...so i'll start w/ JoDe's...

i think you'd have to fight Shannon for Happy Feet....that is her baby from the get-go...she bottle raised him after mom rejected him....and his "happy feet" got away from him when he was about 3 mo...he kicked Shannon in the throat when she was cleaning his feet one day....took her about 3 days b/4 she could even talk (swallowing was quite difficult)....but she's better and Happy Feet has toned them down a bit

Chocko can definitely move but Pete really "hauls a@@" (sorry, couldn't help that one)....his time on the barrels (which i didn't get video'd) was faster and on the poles he and Jani took it not only in her category but all the way....but Chocko is still in training for this stuff, too....he just may smoke Pete once he has that under him....

Jani has moved up to competing in the adult divisions, even tho she's only 13, b/c kids couldn't compete w/ her....she's now making a lot of adults look like novices.....that little girl is going to go far in the equine world...she's Shannon's daughter but i think she's going to be taking over for JoDe (aunt) not too far down the road....
