Wonderful pictures of what looks like a great day out for you and Capp! Clearly, I lived in the wrong part of PA when I was a resident of your fine commonwealth, as I never saw landscapes like yours! :D

(And what's this about another photo of you and Capp together??? )

It looks like a beautiful hike. My dogs want to run away to your house so you can take them on those wonderful hikes.

As usual, beautiful view! Capp is one luck pooch.

Why do you only take Capp?

Why do you only take Capp?

I think I'll answer this two ways because I'm not sure how the question is intended. If you mean why only one dog at a time it's because I love to hike and more then one becomes more of a dog handling day then a hike. Hiking is my relaxation and that's why one at a time.

If you mean why always Capp well they all go hiking. I take them in turn usually. however I will admit Capp gets more turns then the other two. :) I can run Mozart and Roc in the yard playing ball or Frisbee and really get them some great exercise. Capp however is all about walking/hiking. He doesn't like to play so that's his primary exercise, and he is a joy to walk with. No issues with people, other dogs, or almost anything else. He's just very confident and too cool for his fur. He makes life on the trail easy.

I hope I answered your question and sorry for getting long winded.

PS. I don't think Capp is the lucky one, I think I am. After all, he does hang around with me. :)

I was just curious. We have a farm so I can take all the dogs and stroll leisurely while they run helter skelter. The boys need catch time as well but Cinna is not into catch unless it's catch & kill small furry creatures. I think it's great to have one-on-one time with each dog but I only have time for group events.

Debbie if I were out hiking with reactive Mozart and I saw your pack coming, unleashed, I think that would be my worst nightmare. I think I would have to grab Mozart and try to get up a tree.

Joe, what a great place to be able to go to for hikes! I'm very jealous! Beautiful pics...

Texi (a bit of a nervous-nelly himself) had a great time with Debbie's pack this summer.

Thanks, having the Appalachian trail running through my back yard, so to speak, is pretty neat. I always have somewhere to hike not too far away.
