I, too, am very sorry for your loss. Winston looks like a happy guy, and I'm glad you had a decade together, but it's never long enough.

Somehow words never can ease the pain or the emptiness you feel when you have lost your best friend. Knowing that one hopefully we will meet again at the bridge keeps us going. We have to go on without them. I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that you find comfort in knowing that others care and understand.

Our dearest companions...it is so hard to lose them, and it never seems like we have enough time, because their love is so pure and unselfish, their hearts so true. I take comfort in my belief that we will all be reunited with them one day, and hope that you can also find comfort as you grieve Winston's loss. He looks like a beautiful boy, and I'm sure he was glad to be at your side at the end.

Unable to accept its awful gaps, we still would live no other way. We cherish memory as the only certain immortality, never fully understanding the necessary plan..."

I am so sorry for your loss. They are never with us long enough but, thankfully, they leave us with wonderful memories that we can cherish forever.
