Light eval notes per someone there today pulling some other dogs:

Very very nice, coat is in bad shape and she has what appears to be a couple minor leg injuries. With love she is going to be a great girl. She’s about 2-3 yrs old.

Ok this is why people should not shave their herding dogs! And what a beauty with the 2 reds and still having coat in there to show texture, had to have been too smart for the moron who "lost" her.
Hope she finds a new good smart home or good smart rescue foster home!

There is a large pile of red dog hair in the photo background -- perhaps the shelter volunteers had to shave her... just saying, it may have been necessary. Bad haircut or not, she deserves a chance and hope someone has room for her.

Not that it really matters that much, but I don't think the dog has been shaved...I think she's just blowing coat and it's coming out in huge chunks (kind of like when hair sheep shed their "wool"...it comes off in big, huge, patches).

Also, she looks pretty aussie to me.

Hopefully someone can help her; she's a beautiful girl!

I'd say a good bet on at least half Aussi. Just as a comparison, this is my Baussi female from working parents in South Dakota. She's four and an Indiana dog now...sure looks like this could be a sister!
