I've placed a hold on this girl, she needs a landing spot. The animal control does not have Internet and is used to us handling their BC pulls, so please LMK if you can help. No full eval yet:

She is purebred, full-sized, 9 months old, and wonderful. Smart, smart and more smart. Ignored the barking dogs.

Any idea her height/weight, temp around other dogs, and vetting history? Is she an O/S or stray?

Bella is a purebred 9-month old owner surrender described as "wonderful." She is smart, smart, and more smart! At the shelter, she ignored the dogs barking at her. The owner reported that she plays well with other dogs. "She was very excited so handling was challenging but fine. Threw a loofa dog which she looked at but didn't chase cuz it wasn't by ME, which is where she wanted to be." She is on the higher end for AL BCs, over 20" and might weigh in at around 45#. The owner reported she is current on vetting (spay status unconfirmed). She was given up for being "overprotective of owner."

At 9 months, this doesn't seem a deal-breaker for a dog that is "smart, smart, and more smart" She may have simply been creating a job for herself, and needs to find a new, breed-appropriate outlet.

I have placed a hold on Bella until Tuesday, Nov 22. She will be put down on Wed, Nov 23 (happy Thanksgiving) without commitment - tho I'm disinclined to let that happen...ehem.... I can assist with temp hold and transport. There is no Internet at the shelter, and she is being held under my name, so please contact me if you can offer Bella a landing spot. **There is free transport up thru SC/NC/VA; however, it is on Thanksgiving Day.**
