Called the shelter. The info I go it as follows: All 4 dogs are available tomorrow afternoon and all of them came in together.
Shelter Director says: These came from over in Runnels Countyoff of a ranch (Hwy 70 and 153). The rancher that brought them to us useda live trap to catch them. He thinks someone dumped them on theproperty. They may just be in shock from being dumped and then trapped. I’llhave the staff take a few pictures and we will email them to you. Theycame in as strays and are available March 27th at noon.
Other Shelter staff says: They have never been aroundpeople before and wont really let you get near them except for the black and white female in the kennel by herself.
Shelter Technician Who Works in Back With the Dogs says: The story according to what they have been told: "Grandpa" had some deer lease land and the dogs were on it and grandpa used to go out and throw food on the ground for them. Grandpa died and the son inherited the lease. Son went out and trapped the dogs and brought them into the shelter.
Shelter tech lady says about the dogs themselves: The male is not as aggressive as the photo looks - he is however terrified, and won't let you near him - he has not growled at any of the staff or anything like that - just runs to the back of the kennel and wont come near anyone. 15683980
