"Blaze" - Monroeville, AL *Adopted*

Handsome fellow. Monroeville is off the beaten path a bit. But in the past they have tried to offer transport assistance to at least get dogs closer to the beaten path.

Sarah sent me this picture showing his poor pathetic tail. He is young, energetic but very loving. Possible offspring from a BYB that actually contacted the shelter about him (but was told he must be neutered, and she promptly disappeared).

They do not vet, but Sarah has offered in the past to arrange a HW test.

Another picture (he looks so compact here, which is why I'd asked about the tail):

Not far off I-65. My next trip to Biloxie is a week or two off. I'll keep an eye on this boy and the pup in Mobile.

I asked for a dog test for Blaze from the marvelous volunteer rescue coordinator:

He will respond when other unneutered male dogs challenge him. There is an unneutered male chow/shepherd, and they barked at each other through the chain link ~~ would not have put them together! We don’t have a neutered male to test him with, but we let a sweet spayed female out loose with him. He sniffed her a little, then went on about his business. So we think he would be okay with a female dog, not sure about some males, but definitely not with another aggressive unneutered male.
