Sunbeam (#82) is another young one that has ended up at the pound through no fault of their own. She's an adorable border collie mix that's scared and don't understand what's going on. She's a pretty little thing that's deserving of a loving home and a family that will treat her with love and kindness. These dogs and cats are available through the Logan County Pound in Logan, West Virginia, which is a rural high kill pound. If you are interested in adopting one of these dogs or cats, please call the pound directly at (304) 752-1876. PLEASE REFER TO THE NUMBER OF THE DOG OR CAT WHEN CALLING. As the pound is understaffed, please leave a message if you cannot get through to someone. They will return your call. BTW I did receive another email from someone with Blue Ridge ,this person said she might be able to foster her, if transport can be arranged. She is located between Appomattox & Farmville VA and said we would need to get her to Roanoke or perhaps Charlottesville.

Just spoke with Sue with Blue Ridge and they can definitely take her ( in fact she has several people in mind as potential fosters)...Now to work on transport

We are going to Dublin, VA from Charleston WV on Friday May 25th. We have a van and it wouldn't be a problem for us to transport.

Buddog, Sue with BRBCR needs to talk with you about timing and such for you to transport these 2 Logan WV dogs.Hi:

I emailed yesterday but have not heard back. I may have transport for the two dogs tomorrow, but need to complete the paperwork to pull them out. I am going to call the shelter again, let them know we are hoping for tomorrow and see if I can get a phone number.

I have attached our 501c3 letter, our application, our Home Evaluation form. Our policies with regards to placement can be found on our website http://www.brbcr.org.

I am working from home today. That number is 703 442-0445. I should be here until 5:30 when I will be gone for a couple of hours meeting a new volunteer.

As far as I know, this save went off without a hitch!!! Got email from the girl who was to get both girls from the great people that drove them to VA. Was going to pick them up about 8:30 last evening.
Might want to confirm with Marcia or Blue Ridge, but I think these two sweeties made it to rescue!!
