Thanks, Molly. We may have a plan, though. Waiting to hear back from Art about pull and transport, because the wonderful Amy W found a rescue to take him here in Florida! We may have it covered, unless something local is easier to put together. As long as he gets out of there ASAP!

I have a name at home of someone with the local HS who has pulled and prepared (vetted) dogs for me for transport.

All the necessary people - shelter, volunteers, transporters - have been contacted. Now just trying to work out the details. Pup would be pulled this week and transported to sunny FL on Sat.

P.S. Through the gracious help of several volunteers, my marriage and Paula's marriage appear to be safe - for now.

Not wanting to return by myself from South Georgia, I stopped in Cordele, met up with a volunteer from the Americus HS, picked up this BC/Sheltie mix and brought her to Ruffus Rescue. She was adopted today in her first day!!!

She is gorgeous!
