• Costa Rica - Travel Review - [New]an excellent travelogue by Philip Greenspun, describing his travels throughout Costa Rica. This is a lengthy book, filled with wonderful photographs, maps, and other helpful information on Costa Rica. The places he covers are: the Central Valley, Tortuguero, Corcovado, the Monteverde Cloud Forest, Volcano Arenal, Hacienda Barú, and even Miami. His site also includes a Map of Costa Rica, a 100 page Handbook on Costa Rica, Photo Tips, Reference Materials, a list of Recommended Hotels, a list of Recommended Tour Operators, Expert Customized Advice, as well as other relevant information. This site is also quite up-to-date as the book was written in 1995. He only spent two and a half weeks in the country but he has managed to capture a pretty good picture of the different places throughtout Costa Rica. If you are planning to go to Costa Rica or have been before, this Web site is an absolute gem. He has obviously spent a great deal of time putting this site together and that fact is reflected in the materials and layout. This is truly a wonderful site. Don't miss it.
